Description– Going from feathered to the fry pan doesn’t have to be overwhelming. This hands-on clinic will teach you how to process your own poultry in a safe, humane manner and how to reduce the carcass to retail parts that are ready to cook. Participants will receive step by step instruction following food safety protocols and will get to take home the bird they process onsite.

Here is what you will learn:

  • humane euthanization
  • how to set up a scalding process
  • effect feather and entrails removal
  • food handling and safety
  • how to make retail cuts from a whole carcass

Cost-$35 per participant – includes one freshly processed, shrink wrapped fryer to take home.
