4-H Camp

4-H offers many fun overnight camping opportunities for youth who have completed 4th-12th grades in the summer. 4-H strives to provide youth with a positive camping experience and to teach youth valuable life skills while they are away from home at camp. Camps vary in length, focus, location, and fees. Please read below for information about the different camps. Dates and specific details will be posted in early 2021. Registration information and links will be posted Spring 2021 when dates and details are available.

4-H Junior Camp is a 5 day, 4 night sleepover camp held at Ridley 4-H Center in Columbia, TN. Williamson County will be going to camp June 7-11, 2021 and we would love for your child to join us! Camp fees include meals, lodging, t-shirt, recreation activities, and transportation to/from camp.

4-H Middle School Adventure Camp is for youth who have completed grades 6-8. 4-H Middle School Camp is a 5 day, 4 night sleepover camp held at York 4-H Center in Crossville, TN. The Central Region will be going to camp May/June 2021 and we would love for your child to join us! This camp focuses on adventure-type and active-engaged programming. Camp registration fee includes meals, lodging, t-shirt, and recreation activities. Transportation is not provided to this camp.

Target Smart Camp is a 4-H Shooting Sports overnight camp, October 2021 at Ridley 4-H Camp in Columbia, TN. 4-H Target Smart Camp is a program of Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports. It is for youth who are in grades 5-9 as of the date of the camp. At camp youth learn appropriate skills to succeed in a variety of shooting sports and related areas such as archery, riflery, shotgun use, muzzle loading, and outdoor skills. Programs emphasize safety, correct form, and responsible use. Campers should receive prior training before attending this camp. Registration fee, deadline, and more will be posted as available. Transportation is not provided to this camp.

Junior High Academic Conference is an educational program on the campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Participants receive intensive training in their 4-H project areas under the supervision of university scientists and specialists and explore related career opportunities. The conference provides a variety of rewarding and fun-filled experiences in classroom, outdoors, and laboratory settings.

4-H STEM Electric Camp is a fun-filled adventure in electricity at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. At camp, you will work with electrical specialists from across the state in learning centers. Each learning center will consist of hands-on activities so that you can learn by doing. You will also have the chance to meet other 4-H’ers from across Tennessee and explore careers in energy, electricity and basic sciences.

July 2021 at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN. This is a fun hands-on camp for middle school students to explore careers and the vast world of culinary arts! Transportation is not provided to this camp.

This camp will focus on Interior Design for 2021. Camp dates are July 2021 This is a fun hands-on camp for high school students to explore careers and the vast world of interior design!

July 2021 at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Youth must be a TN 4-H All Star member or TN 4-H Senior High State Portfolio Finalist to attend Roundup. For more information about how to attend, contact Mary Beth, mlee60@utk.edu.
