Lego Missions

Gear up for the ultimate robotics adventure with our LEGO Missions class! Designed for students that have taken Intro to LEGO Robotics, this thrilling class places students into teams to build and program robots using the LEGO Spike Prime kit. Your mission? Collaborate and compete against other teams as your robots tackle exciting challenges. Choose your programming language – Scratch for block-based programming or Python for text-based programming – and gain a deeper understanding of advanced robotics. Whether you take this class once or multiple times, each round offers new opportunities to hone your skills and gain more programming experience.

Prerequisite: Introduction to LEGO Robotics

Grade Level: 6th – 12th grade; Students must have completed Intro to LEGO Robotics.

There are only 12 spots available for this class! Spots are first come, first served. Spots are not fully reserved until parents complete registration and payment.

Anne & Raphy Villas

Anne and Raphy Villas are passionate advocates for youth development and exploration. They have taught a variety of 4-H classes for the past 4 years. They empower students to build confidence and leadership skills through hands-on experiences in the classroom and in the great outdoors.
 
Anne’s experience has included Scout leadership, education, and operations for tech start-ups. Raphy brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm from being a “lifelong learner”.  His career began in web design and development then moved into developing technology, leading teams across various sectors, including start-ups, consulting, and government.
