4-H Horse Shows

Whether you’re showing for the first time and have never heard of 4-H or if you’re a long-time 4-H’er with tons of experience, 4-H Horse Shows are an excellent way to experience a high quality show for a great price. Open to any rider, our horse shows offer a welcoming environment to test your riding skills and enjoy time with your horse. Join us for a fun and welcoming day of showing, where camaraderie and sportsmanship take center stage.

Williamson County Horse Show

A cooperation of 4-H and FFA

Enjoy a fun and supportive environment at the Williamson County 4-H/Page FFA Horse Show! Held at the beautiful and historical Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN, this show will be an excellent way for your rider to test their skills, try a horse show for the first time, or have fun with their friends. Open to all riders with classes from Lead Line to 2’6″ Jumpers to Reining and Barrels – we have something for everyone!

Almost all classes are offered for Junior (4th-5th grades), Junior High (6th – 8th grades), Senior High (9th – 12th grades), and Alum (18+) levels, unless otherwise noted.

All classes are $10/each. Stalls are available for the day at $35/stall. Only one stall per horse is available. You may purchase shavings from us for $8/bag or you may bring your own. There is an office fee of $10. Boxed lunches can be purchased at $10/each.

You will receive an email within 15 minutes of registration with your total amount due and registration summary.

All payment must be made online at tiny.utk.edu/wilcohorseshowpay or by bringing a check made out to “UT Extension – Williamson County” to our office at Suite 200, 4215 Long Lane, Franklin, TN 37064. Payment MUST BE MADE by April 5th or your student will not be eligible to ride at the show.

This show is open to ALL riders, not just 4-H enrolled members! All ages and members of the equine community are invited.

An original negative Coggins test MUST be presented at check-in.

A buckled, ASTM Certified helmet MUST be worn at all times while mounted for all youth riders (under 18).

Height divisions for over fences classes cannot be cross-registered. If your rider registers to jump 2′, they cannot also register for 2’6′”.

Walk Only, Walk-Trot, and Lead Line classes cannot be cross-registered with other higher level classes. Green Rider/Horse Crossrails cannot be cross-registered with other over fences classes.

All judge’s decisions are final. Classes can be combined or split at judge’s discretion.

Schooling over jumps is only allowed during posted warm-up times, with no exceptions. Jumping warm up schedules are posted in the barn and near arenas.

No refunds can be provided.

Central Region 4-H Horse Show

The Central Region 4-H Horse Show is a great way for 4-H students to branch out and make friends from the whole Central Region of Tennessee, all while honing their horse show skills.

Date: May 30 – June 1, 2024

Location: TN Miller Coliseum, 304 W Thompson Ln, Murfreesboro, TN 37129

Open to all exhibitors from 4th – 12th grade registered as 4-H students by the entry deadline. More information to come!


State 4-H Horse Show

The Tennessee State 4-H Horse Show lets your students compete against some of the best the state has to offer! Students get the opportunity to test their skills against a wide variety of other riders, make friends from across the state, and enjoy a horse-filled weekend!
