Sewing

Learning to sew is an exciting adventure full of bright colors and fabulous fabrics! In these classes we work hard at developing a brand new skill, building the blocks that lead to accomplishment … stitching together the pieces that make something fun or useful or beautiful. During each six-week course, a professional seamstress will guide you in the basics of sewing machine operation, fabric handling, cutting and ironing techniques, patterns and more!

All materials and sewing machines are provided. There are three student levels; Beginner, Advanced and Special Projects. Once a level has been completed, students can either repeat the course during the next semester to solidify skills and try new techniques, or move up to the next level. Your sewing teacher can tell you whether you’re ready to move up or if you need more practice!
