2024 Welcome Home Series

Are you new to Tennessee or just new to gardening in general? This series provides an overview of exciting horticulture topics that can revitalize your landscape! You’ll explore a comprehensive range of classes, from soil and plant selection to design principles and maintenance strategies. By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid understanding of the critical aspects needed to create and sustain a thriving Tennessee landscape.

We’ll hear from experts across the state speaking live online for a lecture portion of the class (40 minutes) + FAQ (15 minutes) + we’ll finish class up with a hands-on portion related to the subject matter covered in the lecture.

  • October 1: TN Climate, Soils, & Sustainability
  • October 8: Annuals & Perennials
  • October 15: Shrubs & Trees
  • October 22: Lawns
  • When: Tuesday evenings in October (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd) from 5:30 – 7pm CT
  • Where: in person at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park (4215 Long Lane Franklin, TN 37064)
  • Who: Anybody in Williamson County looking to learn more about landscaping in Tennessee.
  • Cost: $40 (cost includes one free soil test)
