Learning about culinary arts through 4-H is an exciting journey that blends creativity with practical skills. These hands-on experiences teach not only cooking but also essential life skills like teamwork, time management, and nutrition. Whether it’s baking, meal planning, or food safety, 4-H empowers participants to express themselves in the kitchen while fostering a love for good food and healthy living.
Hispanic Heritage Cooking Class – Come spend the evening celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by learning how to cook some authentic Mexican dishes. Students will learn how to make Tostadas de Tinga de pollo and Tamales de verde con pollo.
Grade Level: 6th – 12th grade

Holiday Parfaits Class –Tis the season for holiday parties and tasty treats! In this class, our young chefs will learn how to create their own festive parfaits using colorful layers of delicious fillings and toppings. It’s the perfect holiday party treat – fun to make, delicious to eat, and sure to spread plenty of cheer!

Some meeting times may have to be moved due to weather or personal emergencies. It is our policy to communicate these as soon as possible and try to find a makeup day that works for everyone.
