Class Format
- Introduction and Safety Briefing: Overview of basic electrical concepts related to ceiling fan installation, including circuit safety, the importance of turning off power, and the structural considerations for supporting a ceiling fan.
- Demonstration: The instructor will demonstrate the step-by-step process of installing a ceiling fan, including removing an existing fixture, installing the fan mount, connecting wiring, assembling the fan, and testing the installation.
- Hands-On Practice: Participants will work individually or in pairs to install a ceiling fan on a practice setup. Under the instructor’s guidance, they will practice removing an old fixture, installing a ceiling mount, connecting wiring, and assembling and balancing the fan.
- Q&A and Troubleshooting: The instructor will address common challenges, such as wiring issues, balancing the fan, and ensuring secure installation. Participants will also learn tips for troubleshooting common problems that may arise during installation.
- Final Review and Testing: Participants will test their newly installed ceiling fans to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely, with attention to smooth operation and proper balance.
