In this hands-on class, participants will learn how to safely and effectively add a new wall outlet by running wiring from an existing outlet down the wall. This course is designed for DIY enthusiasts and homeowners who want to expand their understanding of basic electrical work and improve their home’s functionality.

Class Format
- Introduction and Safety Briefing: Overview of basic electrical concepts, safety measures, and the importance of turning off power before beginning work.
- Demonstration: The instructor will demonstrate the step-by-step process of adding a new outlet, including cutting drywall, running wiring, and making proper connections.
- Hands-On Practice: Students will work individually or in pairs to add a new outlet from an existing one under the guidance of the instructor. Each participant will have the opportunity to practice cutting drywall, running wire, and connecting outlets.
- Q&A and Troubleshooting: The instructor will address common challenges and provide solutions for troubleshooting issues that may arise during the process.
- Final Review and Testing: Participants will test their newly installed outlets to ensure everything is functioning correctly and safely.
